A$AP Rocky's rowdy stage show turned into an all-out brawl early this morning at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Reports are surfacing that Rocky and his A$AP Mob cadre had a throwdown with a drunken crowd around 3:00am at the Vice Kills Texas party in Austin. Apparently, there had also been a small scuffle earlier in the show during which a stage diver grabbed one of the A$AP Mob's do-rags.
The concert was paused while the Mob demanded its return, at which point, someone in the crowd threw a can of beer and hit one of the guys onstage. Rocky allegedly tried to quell the situation until an angry audience member threw a beer can at him. Subsequently more objects were thrown onstage which infuriated Rocky and his crew. They jumped into the crowd and a "full-blown brawl ensued for several minutes," according to Spinner who was live on the scene. At least one audience member had a gash on his head from the fight and ultimately, security had to clear the room and the police arrived to shut the party down.
Rocky was at SXSW for, among other things, a performance at mtvU's Woodie Awards Festival which led into the 2012 Woodie Awards on March 15.
