A brief history: "Gang of Roses" is a 2003 Western drama with starring roles from Lil Kim, LisaRaye, Bobby Brown and Stacey Dash. The second installment, "Gang of Roses 2," is set for release on February 14 with appearances from Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa, Teyana Taylor and Rocsi Diaz, to name a few. In the second trailer for "Gang of Roses 2," viewers get a snippet of Rose and her rapper boyfriend in costume, riding horses and having very brief dialog.
On Tuesday (January 10) Amber Rose released her first single “Fame,” which features a verse from Wiz Khalifa. “The song represents the ups and downs of fame and lets people know that it’s not all it’s cracked up to be,” Amber told RapFix. “I have my own unique sound, I make music that I love and I hope that my fans and the people that embrace me will love it also!”
In recent interviews Rose says that a supportive Wiz Khalifa has played an instrumental role in her decision to pursue music, but she also says that Wiz didn’t hear her new single until it was already complete. “I made the entire song and then sent it to him, he was overseas on tour at the time,” she said. “He thought the track was dope and I asked him if he would be on it, he said definitely.
A full-length project is in her plans, but she’s in no rush to make it happen. “I’ve taken vocal lessons and I'm working on my album, but right now I'm in the beginning phases and I'm just taking my time,” she said. Catch Amber Rose on “RapFix Live” at 4p.m.
