After releasing three different versions of his mixtape cover art (above is the third, and final tweak) Rick Ross has also given Rich Forever an official release date and time, down to the minute. The new project is scheduled to hit the web at 3:05 on Friday (December 6). The exclusive countdown has already begun at LiveMixtapes.

Over the past few days, Ross has continued to tweet up a storm about his new project, even posting new photos on his tumblr page richforever.tumblr.com. The mixtape, hosted by DJ Scream and Shaheem Reid, will feature all new material and it will hold fans over until his delayed fifth studio album God Forgives, I Don’t finally drops early in 2012.

The Miami rapper announced his new project in mid-December after returning from a trip to South Africa, where he said that he wrote an entire album's worth of material. “It's Official Drop'n New Mixtape!!! #RozayNewTape,” he wrote on December 15. Rozay has already been at work shooting videos for the mixtape's title track, with some help from DJ Khaled, Meek Mill, French Montana and Drake.

After the release of Rich Forever and God Forgives, I Don't, expect a joint mixtape from Drake and Rick Ross titled Y.O.L.O., which the two have already begun recording.
