Kid Cudi Previews "Teleport 2 Me" Single From WZRD

By Nadeska Alexis

Two weeks ago Kid Cudi teased the single “Brake,” giving fans a taste of his upcoming WZRD album with producer Dot Da Genius, but if the track was a little too experimental for some listeners—“To the people that dont like it, I do, and I feel good about it,” he wrote on Twitter—his latest offering might be a little easier to digest. Cudder previewed “Teleport 2 Me” early on Tuesday morning (December 6), dropping the download link for a snippet and establishing it as the official first single from WZRD.

After an unrelated series of tweets, Cudi seized the moment to introduce his new single. “Well, now that Ive got your attention ha who wants to hear a snippet of "Teleport 2 Me"?” he wrote. “You do of course, yea yea sure I got you!” After posting the download link for a brief verison of the song, he added, “The official first single from the upcoming debut album by WZRD, "Teleport 2 Me.”

"Teleport 2 Me" seemed to immediately have a better reception than “Brake” (thanks to the spacey melody that we’ve come to expect from Cudi) and the rapper-turned-rocker continued to retweet fan reactions, writing, "Teleport 2 Me" is the new "Computer Love" mad love for the new jam....cheesin n sh-- ha”

Cudi’s new WZRD album with Dot Da Genius is set to debut on his 28th birthday, January 30th.
