Game is on his grown man. Today the Cali rapper (born Jayceon Taylor) proposed to his longtime girlfriend and children’s mother Tiffany Cambridge and MTV News was on site in L.A. for the joyous occasion.

At around 2:30 p.m. PT, the “One Blood” MC rolled up to Frank D. Parent Elementary school in Inglewood, California where Cambridge works as a teacher. Wanting to maintain an element of surprise Game plotted with the school’s principal who scheduled a fake-out meeting which Cambridge had no idea about. About fifteen minutes after Game’s arrival, Cambridge walked into the room where she believed the meeting was to take place. What she found instead was the rapper, their children, close friends, co-workers and a few camera crews waiting.

Game, who seemed to be just a tad nervous, then got down on one-knee, pulled out a ring and asked Cambridge to marry him. She immediately said yes.

The “One Blood” MC famously rapped about his love and detailed his daughter’s birth in rhyme form on “California Dream,” the closing song on his latest The R.E.D. Album. In the lyrical open-letter Game spits in jest, “Walked through the door, she on the ground cryin’, she don’t want to get up/ You have the baby right here, I ain’t cleanin’ that sh-- up.”

For the duration of the song Game continues to detail the ride to the hospital and the actual child birth.

The MTV News and RapFix team would like to congratulate Game and Tiffany Cambridge on their engagement.
