This was one listening party that was out of this world. Last night, Jay-Z and Kanye West held an exquisite listening sesion for their upcoming Watch the Throne album exclusively at New York City's prestigious American Museum of Natural History. The event that started off in the lower area of the museum's Rose Garden section then eventually shifted to the Hayden Planetarium where listeners were dazzled by the combination of Jay and Kanye's breathtaking tracks, backed by a complete star show that at times appeared to be in sync with the melodies of the various records showcased during the night.

Beyonce, fellow Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Nas, singer Ryan Leslie, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Q-Tip and actor Idris Elba were just a few celebrities on hand to catch a glimpse of the Throne. Following the completion of the listening, Jay-Z breifly spoke to the audience with his wife Beyonce by his side and Kanye nearby. "The album went through three phases" Jay said dressed in his neatly pressed white button-up shirt. "We didn't want it to go over anyones head. But I hope you all enjoyed it."

At the end of the night Maybach's rolled out of a private garage area off the side entrance of the museum. An all black one carrying a familar face rolled down the window and saluted one of his business partners as the vehicle made it's way towards the street "Meneeeeeiiilllly" Jay shouted, pumping his fist in the air. Roughly 45 minutes later a silver Maybach went the same route, stopping just before making a turn on the West side of 81st street, "ya'll have a good night" West smiled then waved before heading off through Central park. The evening was the true definition of a star-studded event.
