It's been a breakout year for Mr. West's boutique label. Coming off arguably his greatest piece of work to date with his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye's protege' Big Sean's Finally Famous hit stores today and is expected to perform very well for the Chicago native. To add more fuel to the fire, Kanye announced a label partnership with Def Jam Records to distribute Sean's album as well more and artist Common unveiled his plans to align with Warner Bros. for his next album.

Weeks back we caught up with CyHi who told us about his recording process and receiving advice from his fellow labelmate.

"You know, I was talkin' to Big Sean and he was tellin' me, 'It's hard to clear those samples,' " CyHi told MTV News recently. "I know my samples are like — man, them people are gonna be like, 'Boy are you crazy?' "

Recently international artist D'Banj announced his own big news that he was aligning with Kanye and his already roster of elite MCs.

On June 8, D'Banj confirmed news of the signing tweeting "Just like yesterday myself and my brother did Tongolo. 7yrs later Mo' Hits signs with Good Music. Best birthday gift ever. God thank u."

"RFL" will also catch up with legendary "YO! MTV Raps" host Fab 5 Freddy and take a tour through his New York City art gallery.
