Queen Bey has returned.
Monday night, Beyonce’s fan site Beyoncelite tweeted a few photos of the singer/actress in the middle of the Mojave Desert in California. Her blonde tresses are in an up ’do slash faux hawk in the leaked photos, with Beyonce sporting a white Givenchy dress. Per Idolator, Beyonce was on set for the video to the single “Girl,” directed by Francis Lawrence. A rep for the singer gave no comment when asked to confirm if Beyonce was shooting a video.
MTV News also reported that Beyonce was filming for the same video in New Jersey. NYMag.com leaked a photo last week of Beyonce wearing a blue Robert Cavalli jumpsuit and a maroon fur coat. That video is also rumored to have 200 African dancers and eight choreographers. Looks like Beyonce is breaking out the big guns for this project.
Fans of the superstar are anxiously awaiting the product of these photos.
“Imma need some HQ pics of the video shoot to appear online today @beyonce,” @stookiesuxx tweets directly to the artist.
On celeb blog JustJared, fans expressed their excitement. “Beyonce! She’s coming, can’t wait!” exclaims Mya. “Yay B is back!” an anonymous user adds.
“Girl” is reportedly the first single off Beyonce’s fourth solo album dropping this summer.
Fans who want an early Beyonce fix can catch her reloaded version of “Get Me Bodied,” cleaned up and retitled “Move Your Body” with Swizz Beatz. The track appears as part of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! campaign, designed to push children to exercise. The final product will include a choreographed workout video to accompany the song.
