Drake To Appear Alongside President Bill Clinton For Charity

When it was announced that Young Money superstar Drake would be absent from tomorrow’s “I Am Music II” tour launch featuring his YM family Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj the consensus was fans would be disappointed ... or not?

As the clock winds down inching closer to tomorrows kick off in Rhode Island whispers are getting louder and louder that Drizzy will appear for the initial date alongside his Young Money brethren. An appearance of all three all-stars together would mark the first since the label toured together for their first trek “I Am Music Tour” back in 2009.

One thing is for sure, Drake will not be available on March 17th (although the tour is off that day) as he's set to appear with former President of The United States Bill Clinton for a special fundraiser the POTUS is hosting. Drake will put on for his hometown performing for the event.

Last month Drake spoke on his absence from the tour citing he wanted to focus on recording his sophmore album instead of more touring.

“I’ve been touring since last March so I’m just going to take time and make my album,” Drake explained to drewreports.com.“But there’s always those nights where you get that itch to go and join those legends like Nicki and Wayne and Ross onstage, so you’ll see me out there, but I’m just trying to take care of the people.”
