Lil Kim Releases 'Black Friday' Art Work, Fans React

By Erika Ramirez

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, yesterday (February 14th), Lil Kim released her long awaited mixtape, Black Friday. On the cover, Lil Kim, in black leather attire and a sword in her right hand, is surrounded by what appears to be a disembodied Nicki Minaj. There’s a pink wig in front of Lil Kim and the rest of Nicki’s body is behind, headless.

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj’s tweeted, “LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.” Could this have been her take on Kim’s cover?

RapFix turned to the ‘net for the fans’ reactions to Lil Kim’s Black Friday cover art.

“Lil Kim is still stuck in 97. She’s gonna tell everyone to check her BlackPlanet page for more mixtape info,” @streetztalk tweeted.

“Woooooooow Lil Kim’s Black Friday mixtape cover shows her chopping off Nicki Minaj’s head lol. I love Nicki but that’s funny,” @SheaAujanelJ tweeted.

Team Minaj had a few characters for Lil Kim. “Lil Kim all the material you come out with has to do w/Nicki. It seems like you need to pay homage cause w/o her you would have no material.”

"What a classless, tragic excuse for a recording artist. It's sad she has to use Nicki's fame to get her name out there. We have to feel sorry for the pathetic excuse that is Kim. What a disgusting mess she is.” ILoveACuban, Perez Hilton commenter, said.

Black Friday not only features Nicki MInaj on the cover of her mixtape but she also rips from Nicki MInaj’s track, “Did It On’ Em,” with a track titled, “Pissin’ On Em.”
