50 Cent isn't the only member of G-Unit to invade Hollywood. Longtime ally Tony Yayo takes on Tinsel town as well in an upcoming flick.

In music video turned film director Benny Boom's latest full feature "S.W.A.T. 2: Firefight", Yayo plays the role of a criminal in the midst of a botched robbery situation. Yayo, born Marvin Bernard, talked about his role with MTV back in May of last year and the G-Unit foot soldier relished the idea of playing a villain in the S.W.A.T. sequel.

"I'm just a bad guy. I'm from the streets, and I do what bad guys do. I play Carlos," Yayo shared. "I'm definitely a bad guy. I don't have a problem playing a bad guy, 'cause everybody looks at me as that anyway. It was real easy. ... It's going to be a lot of shooting and stuff in the movie, it's great."

The film features Gabriel Macht, Robert Patrick, Kristanna Loken and long time actor Giancarlo Esposito. A sequel to the 2003 S.W.A.T. film that featured LL Cool J, the action packed movie filmed in Detroit used actual S.W.A.T. tactical team members for training and to fill some of the shots. Director Benny Boom, who has directed music videos for 50 Cent, Amerie, Ja Rule, and R. Kelly among others, takes on his third feature film. The director previously directed the Mos Def vehicle "Next Day Air" which was released in 2009.

S.W.A.T. 2: Firefight is slated for a March 1 release.
