Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers + 5 More Marijuana-Related LPs

By Erika Ramirez

After hitting UStream early this morning (January 26), Taylor Gang leader, Wiz Khalifa announced via Twitter that his third album, Rolling Papers, will hit shelves on March 29. RapFix reached out to Rostrum Records label representative, Arthur Pitt, for confirmation.

"We are excited about Wiz's major label album debut," Pitt added.

Back in December, Wiz told MTV News that his next single from his third album would be " 'Roll Up,' surprisingly," Wiz said. "Really, I just needed another single and we were trying to come up with a look and then me and [my manager] talked about it. We talked about it for three minutes. And then I came up with that song."

Before you pre-order Wiz Khalifa ’s Rolling Papers, RapFix suggests you prep yourself with these five essential weed-inspired albums:

1. Snoop Dogg

Doggystyle (1993)

Before teaming up together for the Dogg Father’s music video, "That Good," Snoop taught Wiz Khalifa a thing or two on the ways of weed.

2. Dr. Dre

The Chronic (1992)

Take more than one listen to the Cali OG’s Detox because while rumors abound that fans will see the LP this year, we're still skeptical.

3. Cam'ron

Purple Haze (2004)

The title of the Dipset Harlem rapper’s fourth album speaks for itself.

4. Curren$y

Pilot Talk (2010)

Wiz Khalifa’s partner-in-crime in the jet life is a big advocate on greenery.

5. Asher Roth

Asleep in the Bread Aisle (2009)

Straight from the suburbs of Morrisville, PA, Roth rhymes about the green house.
