Kanye West To Lil B: RapFix's Coachella Hip-Hop Guide

By Erika Ramirez

Following SXSW's performance schedule, Coachella music festival announced their lineup for 2011. Live from Indio, California and running from April 15-17, the event has some heavy hitting MCs in their pocket.

Below are RapFix’s must-see acts:

Kanye West

Hometown: Chicago, IL

Performance Date: April 17

It’s Ye’s time to show and prove with the first performance since he and Jay-Z’s "H.A.M.," the first cut from their collaborative album, Watch the Throne, dropped.

Wiz Khalifa

Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA

Performance Date: April 17

After "Exit Row" leaked and "Black and Yellow" continued to garner heavy rotation on Saturday’s Steelers vs. Ravens game, the Taylor Gang leader stays on his high.

Cee-Lo Green

Hometown: Atlanta, GA

Performance Date: April 15

Known for recruiting lovely ladies (Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Mendes) for special renditions of Lady Killer hits, we’re excited to see what, or who, Cee-Lo has up his sleeve.

Lil B the BasedGod

Hometown: Oakland, CA

Performance Date: April 16

Lil B spreads the #swag movement further down from his hometown to one of the hottest region of California. No, really, Indio is scorching.

Erykah Badu

Hometown: Dallas, TX

Performance Date: April 16

After months of hibernation, we hope Badu's everything from vintage to virgin hits.

Lauryn Hill

Hometown: South Orange, NJ

Performance Date: April 15

Ms. Hill will be the only female MC to grace the Coachella stage — unless Kanye West has any "Monster" surprises.

Nas & Damian Marley

Hometown: Queens, NY/ Jamaica

Performance Date: April 17

Will this be the moment Ye’ "chains" Nas, publicly adding him to the G.O.O.D. roster?
