Nicki Minaj Hits 'SNL': What Song Should She Perform?

By Erika Ramirez

It was only a matter of time.

Nicki Minaj hits the stage of NBC’s "Saturday Night Live," hosted by "The Social Network" star Jesse Eisenberg, on January 29. You know what that means: It's time to guess what the femcee will perform and what you, the fans, would like to see.

We can’t wait to see what the Queens-native will wear — this show is after all where Lady Gaga wore that gyro-scope outfit, while miraculously playing the piano at the same time — but we’re far more excited to hear what Barbie will perform.

She's strutted her heels on quite a few stages in the past few weeks and many outlets, MTV News included, predict the Young Money queen will perform her latest single, "Moment 4 Life."

Last week, Nicki performed "Moment," flanked by female back-up dancers in fuchsia leotards, on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." On New Year's Eve, she introduced the emo-tinged "Save Me" from Pink Friday on Carson Daily’s New Year’s Special. And back in November, Minaj performed her first emotional release "Right Thru Me" on "Live with Regis & Kelly," which kicked off the now-infamous "Booty-gate" when Philbin squeezed taped her bum.

Now, the question is what song would you like Nicki Minaj to perform?

Will she surprise viewers with her first performance of "Fly" featuring Roc Nation’s own, Rihanna? "SNL" would be the perfect program to showcase what trouble these vixens can get into together. Will Drake come out if she performs, "Moment 4 Life?" How about Wayne making his second post-Rikers Island appearance on the sketch comedy show to spit his "Roman’s Revenge" remix verse? What about both Drizzy and Weezy?!
