From Miami to the United Kingdom, Lil Wayne is one of music's favorite MCs.
"Had an amazin' meet with Lil Wayne last night, the guys a genius! Thank you @redone_official and @onefeme!" Brit singer Cher Lloyd tweeted.
The Cash Money-Young Money spitter recently hit the studio with the U.K.'s Cher Lloyd. Lloyd participated in Britain's "X-Factor," a talent competition mixed with a bit of reality television similar to "American Idol."
According to MTV News UK, Cher is currently working on her debut album with producer Red One and Black Eyes Peas' Will.I.Am.
Elsewhere, Lil Wayne recently shoot the remix clip for Birdman's single "Fire Flame." We commandeered footage from the video, courtesy of photographer Derick G, and members of the Cash Money/ Young Money camp were in good spirits on the set.
"It's amazing, can't believe n---as are using real cars and sh--, you know times have changed," Wayne joked, marveling at the sports cars being utilized in the clip's fiery scenes.
The video looks to be a performance clip that alternates between shots of a set where a red car is parked on a black set peppered with fiery lights and a raised stage where the MCs trade bars, flanked by members of the Cash Money/ Young Money camp.
Lil' Kim is also aligning herself with the Young Money captain by remixing "6 Foot 7 Foot," Lil Wayne's first post-prison since featuring Cory Gunz.
"OK, OK, I got the ball, I'm coming down the court like Jordan with his tongue out/ Petite and all, I'm stepping on ya'll like a I'm 20 foot tall ... juice box liable to start a 20 man brawl, shame on ya'll/ for thinking I'ma fall, like the dope fiend lean/ I.R.S. the team, live in New Jeruz, rep 718 ... like Elizabeth the queen," she spits over the repetitive Bangladesh beat.
