Gucci Mane is a officially a hipster.
On Tuesday (January 11), Gooch debuted "Gucci Rag top," his duet with Chi-town femcee Kid Sister. The song is housed on Kid Sister's mixtape, Kiss Kiss Kiss, presented by Fools Gold and mixed by DJ Nick Catchdubs.
The Atlanta rapper also dropped something himself yesterday. On Twitter, Gucci wrote that he and his Brick Squad label mate Waka Flocka Flame will be dropping a few mixtapes soon, and first up is Gucci and DJ Love Diner's Gucci 2X. The project is executive produced by Waka and the release date has yet to be announced.
Recently, Gucci's been the talk of the Internet.
The Atlanta-based star (real name Radric Davis) was arrested on November 2 when police discovered him driving on the wrong side of the road. Police needed to use pepper spray to subdue the rapper but he was later released. The traffic charges against the "Lemonade" lyricist were eventually dropped. Earlier this month Gucci appeared in court for a probation hearing related to the incident. Records from the Fulton County Superior Court Clerk's office obtained by MTV News reveal Gucci Mane filed a "special plea of mental incompetency" on December 27 indicating he is unable to "intelligently participate" in the revocation process.
Gucci is scheduled to appear in court on January 24.
Hopefully, the sentencing won't stop the promotional schedule of Gucci 2X nor Gucci Mane’s collaboration streak. Fingers crossed!
