Following speculation over what time Lil Wayne would be released from Rikers Island, the Grammy Award-winning MC was finally discharged around 8:30 am Thursday (November 4) and his fans couldn’t be happier.

Moments ago, the Young Money boss headed to Twitter and wrote the hashtag “#WelcomeHomeWeezy” as well as "aaaaaaahhhhhhmmmmm baaaaakkkkkkkkkk." His followers on the social networking site, including some celebrity fans, have eagerly re-tweeted his message, adding their well wishes and even some of Wayne's notable song lyrics.

Weezy’s protégé Nicki Minaj wrote, “Wayne’s home! #WelcomeHomeWeezy” and mentioned Cash Money’s Birdman and Mack Maine and her label boss, Wayne.

On Wednesday, Drake, who recently teased that Wayne might appear at his Las Vegas show on November 6, shared a heart-felt message with his own Twitter followers, regarding the "A Milli" rapper’s coming home.

“I just want to thank you all for keeping Y[oung] M[oney] alive for the last eight months,” he wrote in reference to his friend and label boss’s incarceration and time away.

Diggy Simmons, the son of Run DMC’s Rev Run, showed his support for the Cash Money artist by re-tweeting the hash-tag.

And, the self-proclaimed Teflon Don, Rick Ross, told his friend that he’s already preparing for the blow-out festivities in Miami this Sunday.

“#Weezy welcome home party sun m.i.yayo … ,” Ross wrote, before adding that the crew might go through 100 bottles at the King of Diamonds strip club, the location of Weezy's welcome home event.

Even, veteran hip-hopper Busta Rhymes seemed to be beaming about Weezy’s return on Twitter.

“Welcome @litunechi AKA Weezy F.Baby!!!! Salute Big Homie,” he wrote.

One fan, Christian Dre wrote that Weezy is back on his grind and added, “everyone get ready for the new tunes … it’s good to have you back on the scene, Weezy.”
