Drake is everywhere. From performing his first headlining concert at New York City's Radio City Music Hall to possibly shooting a clip with Rihanna and performing tonight (October 5) at the Best Buy theater in support of his So Kodak camera promotion, it's non-stop Drizzy Drake. And this morning, the MC-cum-singer released "I Get Lonely Too," the first single from his forthcoming R&B mixtape It's Never Enough slated to drop later this year.
We must admit, this song is going to receive the serious repeat treatment. We're in an R&B mood today, maybe it's the rain, or the fact that we ran Waka Flocka's "No Hands" featuring Wale and Roscoe Dash for almost four hours yesterday. You tell us. Anyway, we're not the only ones that love Drake's emo-tinged songs.
"He talks about his life, instead of like, sex drugs and alcohol all the time," said a female fan outside of Drake's Light Dreams & Nightmares concert last month, sporting braces and the cover of Drake's first mixtape emblazoned on her t-shirt. "It's about his life, his feelings, girls... his loves in life."
"I think he sings better live, he just really gets into it," added another fan.
Elsewhere, Aubrey fans through jabs at the stage game of other MCs. No shots... sort of.
"He actually knows how to perform unlike a lot of other rappers and singers these days," said one girl, with a smirk.
"He knows how to get the ladies and he knows how to give a great performance," said another girl. "The lightening was awesome, any seat you're in you're going to love the show."
