Jay-Z and Eminem's Final Concert Brings Fans To 'Tears'

Last night (September 14) Jay-Z and Eminem concluded the final evening of their Home and Home tour to the delight of their New York City fans.

"This was an historical night, Eminem and Jay-Z came out," said one fan named Terrance Davis. "The Bronx needed this."

And we think the McDonald's across the street from the Stadium as well as the restaurants that line Gerard Avenue uptown benefited particularly well. We couldn't get a six piece of McNuggets without a 40 minute wait! But we digress.

Beginning in Slim Shady's hometown, the two legends tore down COMAMERICA Park for two consecutive nights. Then, after pausing to attend the Video Music Awards where Eminem delivered "Love The Way You Lie" featuring an unexpected appearance from Rihanna, the dynamic duo took over the brand new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx for two evenings also. Or should we say two mornings because the Jay's set, which included an encore featuring cuts like "Jigga My N----," "H to tha Izzo," verse from Mya's "Best of Me (remix)", lasted until almost 1am despite his rumored 12:30am ending. On the other hand, unlike the previous night Em's set began sharply at 8:30 pm.

Boasting expected surprise guests like Kanye West, Swizz Beatz and Nicki Minaj along with artists whom many thought would only pop by on the first Home and Home Big Apple date like Dr. Dre and Drake, one fan was especially moved.

"I had tears in my eyes," said another attendee Mika Bennett. "It was crazy."
