Kanye West’s “Runaway Love” remix with Justin Bieber and Raekwon the Chef: Check!

Last night history was made when the Chef met up with West and knocked out his verse for the all-star remix that was birthed over Twitter this past weekend. The power of social-networking.

Late yesterday evening the Chef tweeted that he was hopping on a plane en route to NYC to lay his vocals.

"Just got off the plane, then dropping my bags off then shooting to the studio to get up wit @kanyewest!" Rae tweeted.

Yesterday the lyrical behemoth phoned into the 1515 boys confirming the magical studio session.

"Kanye was just being Kanye," Rae told MTV. "He was definitely excited. The energy in the room was already speaking for itself. It was time to get up and have fun on the track together. We was drinking, laughing, being normal cats. At the same time, we had a houseful of celebrities in the house as well. [Kanye] was moving through the facility checking out the studios he had. He had three studios in there.”

Hip hop personality Angela Yee gave her take on the pairing following the news "The idea of it has potential. All I know is the song better be good! No matter what, I'm impressed Bieber wants to work with Rae" the radio personality commented via Twitter.

The highly touted MC who made a name for himself as part of arguably one of the most commanding rap groups, Wu-Tang Clan released the opus to the streets on his solo debut album “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx” riddled with coke slinging, gun busting raps. So just how would Rae’s sound fit within the pristine lyrics of 16 year old pop sensation Justin Bieber?

“I definitely didn't give him anything that I thought was too hot to be spoken on by a 16-year-old” Rae said in regards to his lyrical wordplay on “Runaway.” “I know how to read beats, and listening to the record, I just complemented.”

Later Kanye himself spoke on the epic moment "Finishing @justinbieber Runaway Love remix too … don’t know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon’s verse is crazy!!"
