Group. The newly created position will put industry veteran Cavallo in charge of

tracks, four live tracks and two studio tracks from the guitarist's group,

pick ... The soundtrack to comedian/actor Marlon Wayans' new movie,
Senseless, features a number of previously unreleased-in-the-U.S. tracks

Legendary jazz vibraphone-player Lionel Hampton filed a $10 million
lawsuit last Thursday against a trio of firms that distributed what Hampton has
called a "defective" halogen lamp that sparked a fire in his apartment and
destroyed all his possessions last year. The civil
suit filed in a Manhattan, N.Y., court accused the Hunter Fan Company of
Memphis, Tenn., which imports, distributes and sells the halogen lamp, and two
retailers -- Capitol Lighting and Fortunoff's, where the lamp was purchased --
of negligence, product liability and breach of warranty, according to Reuters. The five-alarm fire,
which destroyed all of the 89-year-old musician's belongings, including his
vibraphone and sheet music, occurred two days before he was scheduled to receive
a National Medal of the Arts from President Clinton at the White House ...

spoken-word performance on Feb. 6 at San Francisco's Noe Valley Ministry.
