Vin Diesel Announces A New 'Riddick' Game

Diesel is bringing former "Escape from Butcher Bay" developers on board to create a new game set in the "Riddick" universe.

Talking to Screencrush (see the video below), "Riddick" star Vin Diesel revealed not only an upcoming app based on the series featuring the hard-to-kill Furian, but another, previously unannounced title from developer Tigon. Tigon has brought on some of the team from developer Starbreeze who worked on "Escape from Butcher Bay" to create the third installment in the game series (following that stealth-action title and "Dark Athena").

Diesel didn't have any information on platform for the next game or genre.

The latest installment in the film franchise, "Riddick" (our review) hit theaters over the weekend, taking the number one spot. Diesel has been out there talking about further sequels, sending the character to the Underverse and potentially to his home planet, the lost world of Furia.
