When Arc Systems Works announced that they were returning back to the franchise that put them on the map, Guilty Gear, many 2D fighting fans were besides themselves.

But when they heard that it was going to use 3D polygons instead of the finely detailed 2D sprites, these same people all cried bloody murder.

Well, a brand new trailer for the upcoming release, the curiously titled Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- (though by Arc Systems Works standards, it positively pedestrian) proves that there is absolutely nothing to worry about.
