October 4th, to be precise. This morning, Nintendo quietly revealed the release date for the disc-based version of “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD,” the cel-shaded HD remake of Link’s sea-faring adventure on the Wii U.
While the Amazon sale page for “Wind Waker HD” is still showing its default December 31st release date (with a full retail price of $59.99, to boot), Nintendo announced the official date via a press release for September’s upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert in Seattle, WA.
During the show, Nintendo will have demo kiosks set up for both “Wind Waker HD” for the Wii U as well as the 3DS “A Link Between Worlds.”
