Batman’s butler reads him the riot act as the Caped Crusader faces off against the likes of the Joker, Deathstroke, and, now, Firefly and more in this trailer for “Batman: Arkham Origins.”

Firefly is the latest of the eight assassins revealed for October’s “Arkham City Origins” which sees a still fresh to the vigilante game Batman targeted by eight killers including the aforementioned Joker, Deathstroke, and the previously revealed Copperhead, and Bane. Crime Boss Black Mask is the one footing the bill, seeking to wipe out Gotham’s masked defender before his career even gets off the ground.

The IMDB page for “Arkham Origins” also includes a listing for the Mad Hatter/Jervis Tetch, voiced by “Dragonslayer” actor Peter MacNicol–whether he’s one of the assassins or simply out there causing trouble for the Batman remains to be seen. Interesting fact: this is MacNicol’s second Bat-villain voice work after his role as Kurt Langstrom, the alter ego of the Man-bat in “The Batman” animated series.

The trailer also gives us a look at the early relationship between Batman (Roger Craig Smith) and Commissioner Gordon as well as Bruce and Alfred, both of which already seem frayed by Wayne’s nocturnal activities.
