Barkley 2's Pre-Alpha Footage Is Chock Full of Guns, Mohawks, And Vaguely Cthulhuian Enemies


Last Friday, when mentioning PAX Prime 2013's Indie MEGABOOTH's 80+ games, we noted a couple of standouts, including Barkley 2.

For those out of the loop: it's the follow up to a rather insane fan made game, which itself is a "sequel" to a relatively obscure old SNES/Genesis basketball simulator starring Charles Barkley, in the form of a post-apocalyptic action RPG. And we finally have our first look at the game in motion.

If you're completely unfamiliar with the original Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, then any confusion resulting in the following is completely understandable:

Yes, it features some dude with a purple mohawk, shooting mutants with a spread gun, and solving logic puzzles. But at the core, it's still all about basketball. Trust us on this one.
