'Assassin's Creed' Graphic Novel Brings The War Against The Templars To India

At San Diego Comic Con, Ubisoft announced the latest in their line of "Assassin's Creed" comics, Assassin’s Creed: Brahman.

The graphic novel is set to debut later this fall and will introduce a brand new member of the Assassin Order; Arbaaz Mir. His backdrop is 19th century India, another first for the franchise, though his target once again is those pesky British colonialists.

It's being written by Brenden Fletcher (Wednesday Comics) plus illustrated by Cameron Stewart (Batman & Robin, Catwoman) and Karl Kerschl (The Abominable Charles Christopher, Adventures of Superman), who previous worked on two previous AC comics, Assassin’s Creed: The Fall and Assassin’s Creed: The Chain.

Below are some sample pages. Ubisoft promises "a land of mysterious golden palaces and cursed treasure chambers", which sounds like the ideal place to run around and slash Templar throats.
