SDCC 2013: The History Of Mega Man And Jason Voorhees Sporting His NES Colors Are Your Must Haves

Another San Diego Comic Con is finally upon us, and with it, a chance for attendees to get their mitts on show exclusive goodies that’ll make the rest of red with jealously.

For fans of video games, there will be plenty to choose from. Yet here’s two that we feel most certainly are absolutely, no miss, hot ticket items. First is the debut of UDON’s MM25: Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works.

Its actually an updated version of two previously released Mega Man tomes, Mega Man: Official Complete Works & Mega Man X: Official Complete Works. Both are back after being out of prints for years, and brought together into a single volume, along with added material (mostly covering Mega Man 9 & 10).

It’ll be available to the general public later this year, but SDCC attendees have the chance to not only nab a copy early, but the blue laser foil hard cover edition. UDON will also have plenty of other awesome game related book for sale, at the booth, which is #4529.

And after picking up your special edition of MM25, be sure to swing by the NECA Booth, located at booth #3145. That’s where one can nab a figure based on Jason Voorhees, star of the Friday the 13th franchise.

Which there have been plenty of already, you might be thinking, but not this one. It’s based upon his appearance in the classic NES game (though most of its notoriety stems from how awful it is).

As such, it’s Jason all decked out in blue and purple, just like in the game:
