“Pacific Rim”'s bots and beasts won't officially start tearing up the big screen until the film releases this Friday, but gamers can get a head-start on the Earth-saving action tomorrow. Based on Guillermo del Toro's blockbuster-to-be, “Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures Pacific Rim”—a mobile entry with a mouthful-of-a-title—puts players behind the mech-like Jaegers and pits them against a lethal line-up of ugly monsters.

While we're yet to get our hands on the game, the following exclusive trailer hints at a fight-focused romp complete with customizable characters, globe-spanning levels and, of course, ample opportunity to rearrange the ribcages of towering creatures. Developer Reliance Games is also promising a live-as-long-as-you-can survival mode. Fans of mech-on-monster melees can begin blistering their thumbs when the game lands like a pavement-buckling punch on iOS devices tomorrow morning.
