Conan Plays 'Injustice,' Stumbles Upon General Zod DLC

Well, not so much "stumbles" as is lead to the character through carefully-orchestrated marketing via late night television.

Still, Zod's coming to "Injustice!"

The longtime Superman villain and Kryptonian conqueror is the latest character to join "Injustice: Gods Among Us." He's also, as most of you know, the heavy in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel," played by cinematic crazy person Michael Shannon. So you can see how there might be a little bit of synergy in putting the character in DC Comics' big ole' fighting game.

Depending on what his latest origin story is, Zod is either a power-mad conqueror bent on wresting control of Earth away from Superman, or a vengeful military man with a beef against the House of El. Or some mix of the two.

The game's creative director, Ed Boone, took to Twitter this morning to promise that we should expect to see a gameplay video featuring the character sometime next week after all of the E3 craziness.
