'El Shaddai' Rights Bought Back By Director. Sequel Imminent?

The rights for the angelic action game from UTV Ignition have been purchased by game director Sawaki Takeyasu. "El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron," which was released back in 2011, was one of those strange conceptual (its story was drawn from the Book of Enoch) hybrids Japan churns out--this one just happened to have the mechanical chops to garner praise from the Western press (us included).

So does this purchase mean that Sawaki (who purchased the game's rights through his new company Crim), is interested in an "El Shaddai" sequel? He's confirmed that Crim is definitely looking to "develop a potential El Shaddai business moving forward," which could mean some kind of followup is on the way.
