GameStop Not Accepting PlayStation 2 Trades As of June 1st

If you want to trade-in your old PlayStation 2 games and accessories for some newer equipment, now's the time. According to a photo of a GameStop store display shared by Reddit user eGORapTure, beginning June 1st the games retailer will no longer accept PlayStation 2 games, accessories or systems.

To back the photo up (which you can see below), Joystiq apparently reached out to several GameStop locations to get a confirmation on the news, and that's exactly what they got.
