'Guardians of Middle-Earth' Gets Frodo Baggins DLC

Although he made name for himself as the ring-bearer and an essential member of the Fellowship of the Ring, we've never really thought of Frodo as the warrior type. However, Warner Bros. has revealed Frodo Baggins as the newest playable character DLC for "Guardians of Middle-Earth" on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Here's the official character bio:

Frodo Baggins is an exceptionally famous Hobbit, best known as the ring-bearer during the Quest for the Ring. As an instrumental member of the Fellowship of the Ring, Frodo’s role in the defeat of Sauron during the War of the Ring made him one of the most famous Hobbits in the history of Middle-earth. He later joined the Elves in Aman to rest peacefully until the end of his days.

Frodo’s Gameplay Abilities:

Heavy Burden: Gains stealth at the cost of his health

Light of Earendil: Blinds and stuns nearby enemies

Mithril Mail: Frodo briefly shields himself and gains resistances

Sting’s Bite: Damages and slows an enemy

Frodo’s Class:

Striker

The "Guardians of Middle-Earth" Frodo Baggins DLC is available now.
