‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Demo Lands April 3rd [Update: It’s Early!]

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment today announced that a free demo for the upcoming DC Comics fighter “Injustice: Gods Among Us” will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 beginning April 3rd. But what about Wii U?

The “Injustice: Gods Among Us” demo features Batman, Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor – just three members of the ever-growing roster of DC Comics characters. Set in the Gotham City arena, players will get a taste of the characters’ unique super powers as they destroy elements of the world and fight through a multi-tiered arena.

What’s troubling about the demo confirmation is that it makes no mention of the Wii U. We’ve essentially known since the game’s reveal that it would be coming to Nintendo’s latest console, and a demo would have been a great treat for the Wii U owners out there. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they’ll be getting one. That could change as the Injustice’s release draws closer, but we’re not getting our hopes up.

“Injustice: Gods Among Us” will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U beginning April 19th.

UPDATE: We just logged onto Xbox Live and it appears the demo is already available.
