Capcom Announces ‘Resident Evil: Revelations’ Demo For Consoles And the PC

The demo for the upcoming HD remake of the 3DS prequel will put you in Jill’s shoes aboard the Queen Zenobia, although Capcom’s not sure when it’s coming out.

In the announcement this morning, Capcom promised more details in the near future about the availability of the demo for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions of “Resident Evil: Reveations HD,” presumably as it works its way through the certification process of each platform.

Besides the new HD upgrade over the handheld version, “Revelations HD” will include a co-op mode in the main campaign as well as a new enemy, an extra difficulty setting, and updates to the Raid Mode. I had my issues with the 3DS version when it was released last year, many of them related to the story and overall pacing of the action which might not be so easily resolved by better graphics.

“Resident Evil: Revelations” will be available on May 21 for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC.
