In an interview with Forbes, CD Projekt RED assures fans in no uncertain terms that they won't be cramming some perfunctory multiplayer mode in "The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt." In fact, they won't be adding multiplayer of any kind.
Explaining that they “strongly feel that this final saga of Geralt has no place for meaningful multiplayer," CD Projekt RED is banking on the likely huge campaign for "The Witcher 3" to keep players occupied rather than attempting to extend it with any multiplayer. The article also goes on to talk about the Polish developer's plan for handling the game's endings (an epilogue will summarize your choices) and how they've done away with QTEs entirely.
"The Witcher 3" is coming to the PC, PS4, and next generation systems in 2014. CD Projekt RED is also working on "Cyberpunk 2077" which will have multiplayer.
