Will 'Batman: Arkham Origins' Include Multiplayer?

According to recent reports, the upcoming "Batman: Arkham Origins" -- a prequel to Rocksteady's Arkham games that was announced earlier this month -- will be the first game in the acclaimed series to include a multiplayer mode.

Citing two industry sources, Kotaku reports that one of the multiplayer modes in "Batman: Arkham Origins" will see players assume the role of a member of Joker or Bane's gang as they try to take out Batman and Robin. The villains involved include Killer Croc, Deadshot, Firefly, Black Mask, Deathstroke, and "some kind of Electroman character," according to Kotaku's sources.

Of course none of this information has been confirmed by Warner Bros., so you may want to take it with the tiniest grain of salt. However, Kotaku is feeling pretty confident about their source, claiming they were "spot-on" about the game's name and cover art before the initial reveal.

What are your thoughts on an Arkham game with multiplayer?
