Wii U Virtual Console Launch Lineup Revealed

We already had a pretty good idea of what to expect from the Wii U’s Virtual Console launch thanks to Nintendo’s ongoing 30 Years of Famicom celebration, but the Big N has firmed things up a bit by sharing the complete Wii U Virtual Console launch lineup on their official Facebook page.

The fact that only 8 games will be available at launch has already disappointed some, but at least the Virtual Console is finally coming to Nintendo’s latest hardware. Check out the full list of games below.

– Balloon Fight
– Donkey Kong Jr.
– Excitebike
– Ice Climber
– Kirby’s Adventure
– Punch-Out!!
– F-Zero
– Super Mario World

So, yeah. Nothing that thrilling to get things started, but the addition of Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance titles down the road will hopefully make for the slow start. What are thoughts on the Wii U Virtual Console so far? What are your hopes for its future?
