Greasy foods and gamepads don’t typically get along, but every now and then we just need our pizza fix. Microsoft and Pizza Hut seem to agree, as the two have just launched the official Pizza Hut app on Xbox 360, which lets hungry gamers place an order without taking their eyes off the TV.
“We’re always looking at ways to give our audience more of what they’re interested in,” Xbox’s Larry Hryb told Polygon. “If you look at our audience, they love pizza. I mean, who doesn’t? It has international appeal, and Pizza Hut is a recognized brand that matches up well with the Xbox brand.”
The app will let users link their Xbox and PizzaHut.com accounts to save their order settings for future purchases. It will also let you scope deals at your local Pizza Hut stores. The chain’s full menu is on tap, including pizza, pasta, breadsticks and wings, and you’ll be able to tell your Facebook friends how disappointed in yourself you are after you submit an order.
The Pizza Hut app is available on Xbox 360 beginning today, and customers who place an order through it before May 6th will get 15% off.
