The European publisher could be the source of new games from the "Darksiders," "Destroy All Monsters," "Titan Quest," "Red Faction," and "MX vs. ATV" franchises.
In an announcement this afternoon, Nordic Games revealed that with $4.9 million they were the high bidder in an April 15 auction for some of the remaining THQ assets not immediately picked up in the first round of sales that saw "Homefront," "South Park," and "Saints Row" finding new homes. The winning bids will allow Nordic Games to re-release previous entries in those franchises as well as create sequels and spinoffs if they're inclined to do so among 150 SKUs.
Just to be clear, 150 SKUS represent, for instance, the different ports of "MX Vs. ATV" across consoles and PC.
The sale will be finalized on May 15 and in the meantime, Nordic Games has opened up their forums for fans to weigh in on what they want to happen with their favorite IP.
