Nintendo has revealed that the “Rayman Legends” Challenge Mode will be heading to Wii U later this week. Providing gamers with daily and weekly in-game challenges, it’s clear the free download is Ubisoft’s attempt to ease frustrations among Wii U owners affected by the game’s delay.
The Rayman Legends Online Challenges will have players competing against each other to climb up the global leaderboards. Upon entering the app players will be introduced to 4 different paintings, each of which will take the player to a specific daily and/or weekly challenge.
Available for free in the Wii U eShop beginning April 25th, Rayman Legends Online Challenges will support up to five players and brings back the exclusive Wii U level Murfy’s Dungeon. The full “Rayman Legends” game is slated for a September release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
