Shinji Mikami's Return To Survival Horror, 'The Evil Within,' Gets A Live-Action Trailer

Heavy on atmosphere and creatures, light on detail, the first trailer for the new project from the "Resident Evil" creator would indicate that "The Evil Within" team has been paying a lot of attention to "Silent Hill."

It's not just the grimed-up institutional setting of the demonic-psychological nature of the threats, but also seemingly the focus on a snapshot of a woman (the possible source of our hero's trauma?). Who can say? With this tease and the game's title announcement last week, publisher Bethesda has kept quiet about the deep details on "The Evil Within."

"The Evil Within" will be released sometime in 2014.
