“Beyond,” like previous Quantic Dream titles, was going to have a challenge in terms of communicating what the game is about via its art. How do you show the verb for what players are doing in the game without betraying its mood/tone? The Paris-based Quantic Dream obviously couldn’t have their heroine and the ethereal Aiden blasting fools with blue sparks since everything we’ve seen so far indicates that’s not what “Beyond: Two Souls” is about.
Speaking of which, we had a chance to get some hands-on time with “Beyond” last month.
