‘LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes’ Wii U Hitting Shelves In May

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes” for Wii U was originally given a pretty open-ended release date of Spring 2013. However, a number of online retailers have now listed the game with a much more specific launch date scheduled for May.

According to online product pages on Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop, the enhanced version of the game headed to Wii U will be available beginning May 21st. Is that date just a placeholder? Probably not, considering Joystiq has confirmed that the GameStop listing is accurate.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be getting new platform-specific features not found in other versions of the game. For instance, support for off-TV play on the Wii U Gamepad has been added, along with touchscreen controls and some modified levels.
