‘Double Dragon 2′ Remake On The Way To XBLA Next Week

Major Nelson quietly reveals the April 5 release date for the remake of “Double Dragon 2″ (subtitled “Wander of Dragons”) from developer Gravity after an 18 month delay.

The beat-em-up remake was announced back in 2011 but has been pretty quiet in the intervening year and change. The 3D remake was originally being developed by Barunson Interactive and based on the original arcade version of “Double Dragon 2″ before they were bought out by Gravity.

“Double Dragon 2: Wander of Dragons” is priced at 1200 MSP and will feature both local and online two-player co-op.
