Gameloft's 'UNO and Friends' Coming To iOS, Android and Facebook In April

Gameloft is bringing Mattel's flagship card game, UNO, to mobile devices once again. Though the developer has already introduced an UNO app, the new "UNO & Friends" looks to re-create the mobile card game experience with new multiplatform social features.

Not only will players be able to connect with Facebook and Game Center friends, they'll also be able to compete in live UNO matches with players around the globe, whether there playing on an iPhone, Android device, iPad or through Facebook.

With a 3G or Wi-Fi connection, players can create live matches and invite up to 3 other people to compete. Voice and text chat will have mobile gamers connecting in a whole new way, and matches can be customized with unique avatars, fun backgrounds, themed card decks and special effects.

No specific release date has been confirmed for UNO & Friends, but the title is expected to arrive sometime in April. In the meantime,  you can check out the trailer above.
