That Hikaru Song Will Be Stuck In Your Head With The New 'Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix' Trailer

Go ahead, just let the nostalgia wash over you, gamer of a certain age as "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix" gets a trailer for PAX East.

Seriously, how many remixes of "Simple and Clean" are there?

The HD-ification of "Kingdom Hearts" will likely get some of you out there to pick up "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix" when Square Enix releases PS2-era RPG on the PS3. Besides "Kingdom Hearts 3D," I haven't spent a lot of time with this sometimes baffling series in years, but I get it: the first game arrived smack in the middle of the anime-on-TV and home video boom, and meshed with the Disney aesthetic, some of the character designs feel less dated than they would in say, "Final Fantasy X."

The HD update collects "Kingdom Hearts Final Remix," "Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories," and "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days" (this last one strictly got an HD cinematics upgrade). "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMix" is coming to Japan sometime later this year, and we're guessing that in timing this trailer with PAX East, Square Enix will have something to say soon about a U.S. release.
