Since There's A 'Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut,' Game Director Swery Answers Some Weird Questions

The awkwardly surreal "Deadly Premonition" gets an appropriately awkward and surreal Q&A with Swery, the man behind the game.

Sure the game won't have any additional chapters, but Swery (government name: Hidetaka Suehiro) promises to think about a DLC skin themed around his punk rock days, and he says that he's thinking about a sequel to the "Twin Peaks"-inspired game.

Okay, so the whole thing is a little silly, but there are some nice lightweight questions here for Swery about what he's up to and it's nice to see something beyond the usual marketing assault. Plus, you have to love any question and answer session that brings "Manos: Hands of Fate" into things.

How aware is Swery of the ironic success of his game? He's got to know that many of its fans like it in spite of itself, a half-baked trip into David Lynch territory with modest (at best) production values. The HD remake promises to add a new ending when it's released exclusively for the PS3 on April 30.
