‘Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D’ Hits 3DS In May

Nintendo has revealed that “Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D” will be available for the 3DS in May. They’ve also revealed that gorillas love playing 3DS just as much as we humans do. At least I think that’s what the photo above is trying to tell us…

“Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D” was originally announced back in February during Nintendo’s Valentine’s Day Nintendo Direct. During the presentation, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said “This version of the game is being rebuilt for Nintendo 3DS.” The game was originally released for the Wii back in 2010.

No other details on the game have been revealed, but that could be because there really isn’t anything new coming to the title, aside from the whole 3D thing. If you want to see it in action, Nintendo has a 3D trailer available for your viewing pleasure in the 3DS eShop.

“Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D” will be available on May 24th, 2013
