CD Projekt RED: 'Cyberpunk 2077' Will Have Multiplayer Content

It will be a story-based RPG experience with amazing single-player playthroughs, but we're going to add multiplayer features.

That's CD Projekt Red's managing director Adam Badowski speaking to Eurogamer about "Cyberpunk 2077," the other project being developed in parallel with "The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt."

While Badowski didn't elaborate beyond that briefest of teases about the multiplayer content for "Cyberpunk 2077," the possibility that this open-world RPG will offer the opportunity for other players to drop into your rain-slicked, hacked, modified, and cybernetically- enhanced world is intriguing. It'll be a while before we have more concrete details, though--the game isn't due until 2015 and CD Projekt Red has dedicated the bulk of their team to getting "The Withcher 3" out the door.
